4 Ways to Improve Ranking of Your Blog/Website

Indexing on search engines is the most critical ways to get more website traffic and comes to your content, product or service to people who might be interested in what you have to offer. For this, you’ll want to practice some SEO (search engine optimization).

Most of the big search engines use an algorithm to determine where a website ranks. The criteria is different for every engine, but all engines have some common things. It all depends on the type and amount of content provided on a given website, the level of optimization done on the site, and the popularity of the website.

1. Using Keywords

Keywords are very helpful to improve indexing and ranking. You can use Google Keywords, a tool available in the Google AdSense website, allows you to track keywords and keyword suggestions. Visit the site and check how it works and then use it for your advantage. Only Find keywords that will help you to maximize your website’s traffic.

2. Using Google Trends

Google Trends shows you how searches on a subject change time to time. You can use it to predict spikes and slumps as well as to know when you should update or change pages for that time or switch to using different keywords. You can look at and compare several different terms at a time

3. Add to Google+

Google will index and rank higher Google Plus users and also businesses which are registered on Google Maps. Take benefit and join Google+, as it is the most popular search engine.

Part -2 : Your Content

1. Write Quality Content

Quality content, means original and genuine, no error text, well organized on a modern-looking website, is what matters most in terms of SEO. Hiring a professional website designer can help you to taken seriously by your visitors. You’ll also want to be sure that you’re not misleading your visitors, they should be get to know what was advertised when they looked the site’s description.

2. Original Content

You can create quality content by making sure that your content is original & genuine. This means you’r fully website/blog should have its own original content. You haven’t to steal anyones content and add it to your site. Make sure your content should be real.

3. Images

Always use original media like photos, videos etc. Do not use the images which are found on Google Images. Only use the pics available on the sites that gives pics for Blogs/Websites. Use a specific keyword in place of ALT text.

4. Use Related Keywords

Find the most relevant keywords that relate to the content you provide and then add those keywords to your site’s text. Use the word a few times in the page/post in a way it relates to the rest of the text and is natural.

5. Low Competitive Keywords

Try to use Google Adwords to check how competitive your keywords are before deciding on them. Be sure that the keywords have at least some searches. You will want to try using broader key words too. Always use low Competitive Keywords that help to Improve SEO of your Blog/Website.

6. Make a Sitemap

Create a site map that tells people where everything is on your site. Sitemap can also help to improve SEO of your Blog/Website. However, it will do wonders for those who know what site maps do, and the Search Engines will like it most.

1. Domain Name

Keywords as the first word in a domain name will boost your traffic a little. Using a country TLD can only boost your Website locally not internationally so use it with caution. Using a subdomain(example.wordpress.com) will also down your seo.

2. Using Description and Meta Tags

Descriptions are a tagged part of your website code which describe the type of content on the page. If you have only one at all  then it will help your rankings and having one which contain good keywords will help more. But don’t use a same keyword for all contents on your site.

3. Using Headers

Headers are similar to descriptions and the same rules apply: having one at all helps and having one with keywords is even better.

4. Make it simple

Keep the structure, navigation and URL structure of your site simple enough for search engines to follow. Remember that search engines cannot parse your navigation if it’s using flash or javascript. So try to stay close to standard HTML when it comes to Navigation.

1. Create Backlinks

Backlinks are when another website links to your page. It works in your favor if the website is one that gets more hits than yours does.

2. Say NO to Spam

Spamming comment sections and other website areas will actually make Google and other search engines to dock you severely or remove you entirely.

3. Social Media

Now-a-days social media share and likes are the activity which is most considered by Google and other search engines. Especially for subjects that are currently relevant. Create social media accounts with the giant sites and update them regularly.

4. Fresh Content

Update your content regularly to make your content fresh. Fresh Contents are mostly liked by Search Engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo & many more.
